My wish is to help families thrive.
I absolutely love working with families, getting to know you all and your dynamics and observing how attuned you are to your child’s needs, often without even realising it.
I understand the helplessness and exhaustion that can come from raising a child with different needs.
I ask parents to consider their child’s relationship with food and their bodies alongside their overall emotional wellbeing as crucial aspects of their child’s health. For a child with feeding differences, encouraging them to ignore their sensory needs and mask their distress is at odds to their overall wellbeing.
When working with me, the goal is not to manipulate your child to eat more foods but instead to create an environment that allows you all to feel happier and more confident around food.
I can’t wait to get to know you and to help you to enjoy food!
We will explore your relationship with food and dismantle the ideas diet culture and anti-fatness have given you about food and your body. I am here to support you to find a way to feel nourished, to respect your needs and to approach eating with curiosity and self-compassion.
As an ADHDer I get how hard it can be to plan, prepare and cook food. I will provide you with a judgment free toolkit that will support your challenges.
